Walkway of Honor
Our Walkway of Honor offers a contemplative space to recognize loved ones and those who have made a significant impact on the NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst's community. Located off of Broadway and 78th Streets, this space offers a quiet location of respite and reflection for patients, staff, and visitors.
Bricks are engraved with your messages of love and appreciation. The funds raised from each brick purchased on the Walkway of Honor support the Auxiliary’s programming to ensure exceptional patient care at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. Each fall we invite donors and their family members to a reception to formally dedicate and unveil all of the year's new bricks.
Bricks are available in two sizes: 6x9 inches and 12x12 inches. Please find more details below.
6 x 9 Inch Brick - $150
A small brick is 6 x 9 inches and accommodates two lines of text, with 15 characters–including spaces–in each line.
12 x 12 Inch Brick - $500
A large brick is 12 x 12 inches and accommodates four lines of text, with 20 characters–including spaces–in each line.
Bricks purchased before July 15 will be dedicated this fall. Bricks acquired after July 15 will be dedicated the following fall.
