MEET OUR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst are community members who are passionate about providing both quality healthcare services and a compassionate atmosphere of care to patients.

 

Volunteers unselfishly give their time and ability in offices, clinics, patient transport, and other patient units in order to contribute to the overall care of patients. These men and women, working adults, active seniors, and students partner with the staff at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst to accomplish our shared mission of providing quality healthcare to patients by donating hours of service to our hospital and to our community.

Please note that no shadowing opportunities are available at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. Additionally, volunteer positions involving direct patient care are not offered as volunteers are not permitted to touch patients.
